As a teenager I was exposed to Long Beach’s Fourth Street Retro Row. The stores’ merchandise had an aesthetic that resonated with me. I fell in love with the lines, the textures, and the colors; all reflective of Midcentury Modern Design. Fourth Street helped to define my path of becoming a designer. 

I have come to appreciate the value of purpose and intention in design.
